One of our residents suggested that we update Heritage Harbour street lights to have all LED lights on strong steel poles. Anne Arundel County has budgeted for that on County owned or maintained street lights. BGE will start replacing old light fixtures with LEDs and replace fiberglass poles with steel poles this fall/winter. The utility company will mark the ground with orange paint stripes near the poles a few days before the installers replace those poles and/or light fixtures. 

The county also approved upgrades for those private streets that were 'grandfathered in' to be upgraded sometime before June of 2026.
